What happens after I book?

Driving lessons are very much built around you. You may want to take on an intensive course and go from beginner to test standard quickly, or take your time and build your driving skills gradually.

If you are a complete beginner your first driving lesson would start with a quick run down of the controls of the car, leading to moving off and maybe introducing
left and right turns. If you have had driving lessons before we would have a quick assesment to find out
the level you are at, I can then work out what level to
start your driving lessons at.

Whatever stage of learning you are at my goal is to develope you into a safe and competent driver, "test standard" as quickly as possible. The aim is to keep lessons flowing, keep you on the move, getting you to "read the road" and reacting effectively to what you see....therefore becoming a 'safe driver for life.'

The area's I cover are: Isleworth, Twickenham, Whitton, Kingston, Richmond, Teddington, Surbiton and outlying areas subject to prior negotiation.

My name is Mark Stevens and I run Chequered Flag Driving School. I was formally with AA Driving School & Britannia. I have been a driving instructor for 5 years and am well known at the Isleworth Test Center, having worked in and around the area for most of my career.

I am fully qualified and are registered and approved by The Driving Standards Agency and am also
Pass Plus accredited. I can also provide intensive or refresher courses tailored to the individual.
